What is TRE?

Deep Understanding of TRE!

Have you ever noticed that dogs or children shake during a traumatic event? (i.e., thunderstorm). Their bodies intuitively know how to release tension during a stressful event, and as adults, many of us have been conditioned out of this normal response, and we too can relax our nervous systems and release trapped stress, tension, and trauma-just by activating the neurogenic tremors with TRE.

A somatic body-based practice is beneficial for people with stress, tension, anxiety, trauma, or PTSD. It doesn’t require talking about the event; therefore, it overcomes some of the barriers of opening up about your experiences that can bring up additional stress.

T.R.E: Tension, Trauma (stress) Releasing Exercises is an innovative series of simple exercises that assists the body in releasing deep muscular patterns of stress, tension, and trauma by inducing a gentle muscular shaking response.

When this muscular shaking/vibrating mechanism is activated in a safe and controlled environment, the body is encouraged to return to a state of balance.

This form of shaking in the muscles is part of our natural behaviors as humans, everyone can benefit from Tension Releasing Exercises. This shaking increases the resiliency of the body because it causes deep relaxation that naturally reduces stress levels.

PEOPLE HAVE REPORTED :

TRE is a safe and effective technique for most people. The TRE should not be used as a substitute for trauma recovery therapy, psychotherapy, or any other forms of medical treatments.
Before your first TRE session, you must complete the form more than 48 hours before set appointment- this way, your practitioner can contact you for further clarification and assess your needs better.
